Montana Property Tax Appraisal

Have you received a letter in the mail from the Montana Department of Revenue? You should be receiving a property appraisal letter letting you know how much Montana thinks your property is worth. If you disagree with the state’s appraisal, there is an avenue to challenge it. Go to https://revenue.mt.gov/publications/request-for-informal-classification-and-appraisal-review-form-ab-26 where you can submit a request to review the appraisal online, or by means of a hard copy. But hurry!! There is a 30-day deadline.
